The most important question one could ever answer is the question of how to be saved. This epistle, which is addressed to the whole world (Mark 16:15 KJV), is written with all gravity and sincerity in order to show God's way of salvation, as set forth in His word, the Holy Bible. This epistle no doubt stands in direct contradiction to many of the teachings proclaimed in the "mainstream Christian" denominations, which have isolated themselves from the living God by clinging to their vain traditions of men; nevertheless, it is what the word of God says, and it is written:

All Have Sinned

Except for one man, Jesus of Nazareth, all men who have ever walked upon the face of the earth have sinned, including you, as it is written:

By sin, man is separated from God, who is holy:

And the wages of sin is death:

The Gospel of Christ

Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God, was born without sin and not once did he commit sin. This same Jesus was crucified, and shed his precious blood, taking the punishment which the whole world deserved. His death on the cross was the perfect sacrifice to make atonement for sins:

After his death, Jesus was buried, and on the third day, God raised him up from the dead, never to die again, being seen of many witnesses chosen before of God. He has ascended to his Father in heaven, where he is by the right hand of God exalted:

So that you can see that what I have written here is in the word of God, here is a passage from an epistle of Paul to the Corinthians, in which Paul declares the gospel to his brethren at Corinth:

This is the gospel of Christ.

How to be Saved

If you believe the gospel of Christ and that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and only if you believe (Acts 8:36-37), then you need to obey the gospel, as it was preached by Peter on the day of Pentecost:

As Jesus died, was buried, and rose again, so must you also die, be buried, and rise again.

By repenting, you die to your sins:

In baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, you are buried with Christ:

Also, if you have already been baptized in water according to the gospel, then you do NOT need to be baptized again.

For more information about water baptism according to the gospel, see this epistle.

By receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, you are filled with the same Spirit which raised Jesus up from the dead:

And the receiving of the gift of the Holy Ghost is manifested by you speaking with other tongues and prophesying:

Obeying the commands of Acts 2:38 is how one obeys the gospel, and it is written:

This is the gospel that was preached by the apostles of Jesus Christ after his ascension to his Father in heaven, and again it is written:

Blessed be the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!
